O trilho dos Miradouros, situado num local privilegiado do Parque Nacional Peneda-Gerês, traduz-se num percurso que visita múltiplas paisagens ímpares da Serra do Gerês e oferece uma vista privilegiada sobre todo o vale do rio Gerês, com destaque para a Vila Termal do Gerês e a para albufeira da Caniçada.
Os Miradouros, construídos sob a alçada dos Serviços Florestais, aproveitaram muitos dos cabeços naturais de granito, que enredam de histórias e passaram a fazer parte integrante da fruição das paisagens.
Neste percurso destacam-se o Miradouro da Junceda a 915m, no ponto mais elevado do trilho, da Boneca a meia encosta, e da Fraga Negra e o do Penedo da Freira já no limite urbano da vila. Destes locais vislumbra-se assim um horizonte paisagístico de inigualável beleza natural, servindo de pontos de reflexão onde imperam a paz e a tranquilidade.
The miradouros trail – located in a privileged location in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, This translates into a route that visits multiple unique landscapes of the Gerês mountain range and offers a privileged view over the entire valley of the Gerês river, with emphasis on the Thermal Village of Gerês and the Caniçada reservoir.
The Viewpoints, built under the responsibility of the Forestry Services, took advantage of many of the natural granite bollards, which entangle with stories and became an integral part of the enjoyment of the landscapes.
On this route, the highlights are the Junceda viewpoint at 915m, at the highest point of the trail, the Boneca viewpoint in the middle of the slope, and the Fraga Negra viewpoint and Penedo da Freira on the edge of the village. From these places, one can glimpse a landscape of unparalleled natural beauty, serving as points of reflection where peace and tranquility prevail.
